13. Law Cheng Leang.---Father and mother were born in the Straits Settlements and he holds a certificate dated 1880, which entitles him to protection as a British subject. His dress is Chinese.
14. Moy Wa Cheong.-He is the interpreter in the Supreme Court of Singapore. No information as regards his parentage can be procured. His dress is Chinese.
15. Cheah Chen Esk. He was born in Penang but no particulars of his parents can be obtained. He is at present an opium farmer at Foochów. His dress is Chinese.
16. Feng Man Kingsell. His father was born in Hong Kong before it became a British Colony. He was registered as a British subject in Yokohama for more than ten years. His dress is entirely European and he has no queue.
17. Lo Cheng Yi-He is the adopted son of a man who was a registered British subject (Chinese). His claim to British nationality does not extend further than this. He is an expectant Taotai. He has been registered for some fourteen years. His dress is Chinese.
